Due to the need to ensure that our gites are fully aired and disinfected between
all guests we have decided to block an additional night at the end of each reservation.
This means during 2021 the minimum booking is 4 nights, anything less is simply
not economically viable for us.
Special payment terms :
Until further notice direct bookings confirmed with us from April 2021 onwards will
benefit from the following exceptional payment terms:
1. 30% of the rental will be due to confirm the booking
2. 35% of the rental will be due 60 days prior to the booked arrival date
3. 35% of the rental will be due 7 days prior to the booked arrival date or in cash
Non-payment of rental by any of the due dates above will be treated as a non-refundable
cancellation by you of the booking
Exceptional circumstances amendment to our terms & conditions:
Due to concerns that the coronavirus causes massive disruption to travel we have
decided to extend our 2020 re-booking offer to any of our direct booking guests whose
2021 gite rental is disrupted due to Covid19
Our re-booking offer will be available to all guests who already hold or subsequently
make a confirmed booking direct with us for a gite rental due to take place during
This offer will apply if your gite rental cannot take place during the reserved dates
due to one of the following Covid19 related reasons:
1 - Local prefecture restrictions prevent gite owners in Cotes d’Armor from letting
their premises to holiday-makers.
2 - French government restrictions legally prevent entry into France for holiday
3 - Residents of the country where the guests live are legally prevented from travelling
out of that country for holiday purposes.
4 - Immediately prior to the booked rental period the guests are unable to travel
following written medical instructions due to infection of one or more of the guests
5 - Cancellation by service providers of all ferries, flights or trains to and from
France meaning guests who cannot drive overland to France are unable to reach Brittany
for their rental dates.
If your gite rental cannot take place as booked due any of the reasons related to
COVID19 detailed above we will issue you with a re-booking voucher for the amount
of gite rental you have paid to us as at the date you contact us.
The voucher can be used in full or partial payment to re-book your choice of any
of our gites for any available date of your choice during 2021 or 2022.
If you have partially paid for your booking when you contact us to re-book:
Balance payments for your re-booking will be due in accordance with the payment terms
If you have already paid us the total due for your gite rental when you contact us
1- No further payment will be due if you chose to re-book the same length of stay
with the same seasonal pricing in the same year - for instance you had booked a week
in April 2021 and re-book a week in October 2021.
2- If you chose to re-book a period with a higher seasonal pricing or a longer stay
or a different year the outstanding rental amount will be due 60 days prior to your
re-booked arrival date.
3- If you chose to re-book a period with lower seasonal pricing or a shorter stay
we will issue you a discount voucher for use against a future booking in any of our

about Covid19 or due to your wish to avoid isolation periods required by your country
of residence following travel to France our existing cancellation terms & conditions,
as referred to and agreed to when booking, will apply.
If you have booked and make payment via a third party advertiser, we agree to amend
your reservation to alternative dates, subject to availability, but we cannot amend
whatever payment terms you have agreed with the third party.
If none of the above re-booking reasons apply to you, we will endeavour to be sympathetic
to your personal situation and will supply documentation detailing your booking for
you to claim against your travel insurance.
