hour’s easy drive from Plessala.
Dinard Airport is served by Ryanair from London Stanstead, Bristol, East Midlands and Leeds Bradford airports.
It is also possible to fly into Nantes from Dublin, East Midlands, Leeds, Liverpool and Shannon airports or into Brest from Luton.
Rennes airport is used by Flybe
who fly there from :
Southampton, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle.
Alternatively they also fly into Brest and Nantes airports from several destinations.
Both Nantes and Brest airports are around 2 hours drive.
Travelling through Northern France to reach Brittany is straightforward, using well signed, fast roads, however if you intend travelling on a Saturday in peak season please be aware that the Autoroute toll booths in Normandy can get crowded and cause tailbacks; it may be quicker to drive on smaller roads, you also avoid the charges!
Toll free, good standard, dual carriageways are the norm in Cotes d’Armor and Plessala is just 10km from the nearest exit off the N164 (from the Rennes direction) and 25km from the N12 / N176 (St Malo / St Brieuc direction).
