La Fontaine Rouillee Gîtes offer you a choice of character self-catering accommodation to rent, in a tranquil, rural location.  

Our charming detached 2 bedroom holiday cottage La Belle Maison is equally suitable for small families or couples.  

Our traditional Breton long-house La Vieille Longere is primarily an adult choice for friends, or older families (age guide 11+),

it offers 3 bedrooms, each with its own shower room.

The third option we provide La Petite Longere is exclusively for couples - the 1 bedroomed ground floor of the longere.

We aim to keep our holiday cottages well maintained,

and comprehensively equipped, so that they are good places to stay throughout the year and do not feel like faceless vacation rentals.

Our gîtes are fitted to a high standard throughout

to ensure that, no matter whether you are staying for

3 weeks in July, or just having long weekend to visit Christmas markets, you will be able to settle in easily

and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

The kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering holidays, having cookers with gas hob and full size oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, plus a full complement of cookware, utensils, crockery and glassware

Your comfort is our concern ~ as well as an efficient wood burner in each living room, there are modern efficient panel heaters throughout and lots of hot water.

Fans are available in hot weather, cool boxes are provided for shopping or to take on summer picnics

and herb pots are planted beside the barbecues

for you to enjoy with your meals.

Duvets are provided in weights appropriate to the season and there are fleecy throws to snuggle up with on cooler evenings.

We provide large scale walkers maps for our guests to use, so that you can make the most of the local area, along with a good selection of tourist information leaflets giving more information about the wider region.

 
Plenty of on-site parking is available and you can use our lockable cellar for secure storage of cycles, golf clubs, etc.

Each holiday home is a completely separate entity which has its own outdoor space with an outdoor dining area and built-in barbecue, that is not overlooked  by guests using our other gîte ... contact us to book.

You will find a television receiving English language free-to-air channels, along with a DVD player and a separate radio/CD player.  There are also stocked bookcases and various traditional board games.
 

Each bedroom has plenty of hanging and drawer space, bedside lamps, a chair and a mirror.

The shower rooms all have a modern walk-in shower cubicle, towel rail, a cupboard, a stool or chair, a mirror with light above, power point and a hairdryer.

Each house has its own washing machine, drying rack, iron and board and a rotary dryer in the garden.

We fully restored these houses during 2005, and continually update to keep the facilities in good working order.
